VSA-Brevard is a program of Brevard Achievement Center. VSA-Brevard is committed to providing persons with disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential through the arts. Since 1987, VSA-Brevard has served children and youth with disabilities in the public school system. Adults with disabilities experience the arts at Cogswell Street Studio, the art program of Brevard Achievement Center, where they create works in clay and glass and paintings for sale at local businesses and craft shows. VSA-Brevard has a history of bringing arts experiences direct to people with disabilities, training others to deliver arts experiences, and creating awareness and acceptance of people with disabilities in the community.
